Match the accessory, not just the machine name
Start with the complete model on your machine and identify the portafilter you actually use. A replaced handle changes the combination you are checking. Compare the seller's selected variant with the official accessory record; a title containing ‘Breville compatible’ is not the same as a manufacturer listing. Can it stay on in the grinder cradle?
For the original accessory, Breville says it works in the grind cradle. The US BES870 manual, page 13, places the attached funnel and portafilter in that cradle for dosing.
