1. Scope
This policy applies to fitchecklab.com. FitCheck Lab publishes compatibility research for US-market appliance parts and accessories. It does not cover the privacy practices of Amazon, manufacturers, sellers or other sites we link to.
2. Information the site receives
FitCheck Lab does not currently offer user accounts, comments, newsletters or an on-site contact form. Text entered into the model finder is filtered in your browser and is not submitted to FitCheck Lab.
Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may automatically process technical data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, referral information and security events. This data is used to deliver, protect and diagnose the site.
3. Service providers
- Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, DNS and security services and may process technical request data.
- Google Search Console provides search-performance and indexing reports. FitCheck Lab does not currently load a Google Analytics tracking script.
- Amazon receives information when you follow an Amazon affiliate link. Amazon may use cookies or similar technology under its own privacy notices to attribute qualifying purchases.
4. Cookies and similar technology
The current FitCheck Lab application does not intentionally set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may use technology necessary to operate and protect the service. Once you leave FitCheck Lab, a third-party destination may set cookies under its own policy.
If we add analytics, advertising pixels, Amazon oneTag, accounts or a submission form, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be added where required.
5. Retention, sharing and security
Technical data is retained only as needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting and legal obligations. FitCheck Lab does not sell visitor personal information. Data may be processed by service providers acting for the site or disclosed when legally required.
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
You may block cookies through your browser, avoid external links, or request information about data associated with you where applicable. Because the current site has no accounts or forms, FitCheck Lab usually cannot identify a visitor from ordinary site activity without additional information.
7. Children and changes
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Material changes to this policy will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
8. Privacy questions
See the contact page for the dedicated privacy and legal contact channel.
